Today we signed the contract for the design of Freedom Square (Plac Wolności) in Łódź which we are going to design in consortium with mamArchitekci from Warsaw. It will be our next project in Łódź after ‘We’re changing the Streets’ and another public space design in our portfolio. The commission comprises 1.5ha of the most important square in Łódź, which will be completely refurbished. The project will include new traffic organisation (including tramline), paving, landscape and street furnishing as well as illumination project, new entrance to ‘Dętka’ canal and shifting the historic fountain. The design process will last over a year.
